The first step to developing a collaborative action plan is an assessment. This involves a face to face meeting with the child, parents or adult to find out what the current difficulties are, how long they have been going on for, what has been tried already, and what the goals for future work are.
From here I develop a formulation. This is like a road map. It contains ideas about where you started, the path you have taken, and the things that have happened to you along the way that might be contributing to where you are currently in your life. Your formulation helps me develop ideas about how to support you. This could involve further assessment, therapy, consultation etc.
Assessments are 80 minutes and cost £130.
